Privacy Act 1993 Declaration

I/We understand that there is no obligation to provide personal information but failure to do so may prejudice my/our chance of obtaining finance.

I/We declare that the information contained in this application is true and correct and that I/We are not an undischarged bankrupt.

I/We understand and authorise Dorchester Pacific Limited and all subsidiary companies (as defined in the Companies Act 1993 (“Dorchester”)) to undertake all necessary inquiries to obtain, and to use the personal information I/We have provided, to obtain information from Veda Advantage’s credit reporting service, any other credit reporting agencies, credit providers, my/our employers, accountant, or any other source, to obtain, check and exchange (both now and in the future) such personal, financial and commercial information and references about me/us as is necessary for the purposes of considering this application, the protection and administration of any loan arising out of this application and in the enforcement of any agreement between me/us and Dorchester. I/We also authorise Dorchester to disclose information about any loan arising out of this application to any potential assignee of this loan or to any person providing services in connection with refinancing this loan, or to any person or organisation you have authorised to obtain information, at any time in the future.

I/We also understand and agree that in providing this information so as to use Veda Advantage’s credit reporting services to check me/us, Veda Advantage will give Dorchester information about me/us for that purpose. Dorchester will give my/our personal information to Veda Advantage, and that Veda Advantage will hold that information on their systems and use it to provide their credit reporting service, when other Veda Advantage customers use the Veda Advantage credit reporting service. Veda Advantage may give the information to those customers. Dorchester may use Veda Advantage’s credit reporting services in the future for purposes related to the provision of credit to me/us. This may include using Veda Advantage’s monitoring services to receive updates if any of the above information about me/us changes, and if I/We default in my payment obligations to Dorchester, information about that default may be given to Veda Advantage, and Veda Advantage may give that information about my/our default to other Veda Advantage customers. I/We also understand that I/We have the right to access and correct personal information held about me/us in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993.

Please notify us in writing if you do not wish to receive any promotional material about services and products offered by Dorchester and its associated group of companies. If no such request is received from you we will take it that you have accepted and agreed to Dorchester using your personal information for these purposes.

I/We do not have any outstanding traffic, parking or other fines and do not have a criminal record.
